“Dippledop” is the nickname Skizzleman bestowed on ImpulseSV., and when Impulse began building a homage to Willy Wonka’s factory in his Hermitcraft series, my mind raced to “The Candyman”, a song written for the original 1971 film. Sammy Davis Jr’s version, released the following year, became his only number-one hit. One particular live version I love became the inspiration for The Dippledop.
